The African American Forum (AAF) is a coalition of African Americans in Hazelwood and thier supporters ensuring equal voice in upcoming Hazelwood Developing projects.

 IT'S TIME TO UNITE TO MAKE HAZELWOOD AND THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE, WORK, AND FOR OUR CHILDREN TO GO TO SCHOOL. AN IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENT IS ON IT'S WAY. WHAT WILL IT MEAN TO EVERYONE?

The African American Forum (AAF) of Hazelwood invites you to attend its monthly meeting, scheduled for 6; 00 PM. Friday, April 20, 2012. At Keystone Church (Center Of Life), 161 Hazelwood Avenue. The purpose of this meeting is to receive information regarding the ALMONO development planned to be constructed on the former J&L site in Hazelwood, and to introduce Mr. Gilbert Berry of Gil & Associates, who has been secured by POORLAW to work on behalf of African Americans, economically disadvantage residents, and other minorities to assure Equal Social and Economical Justice for residents of Hazelwood and those who live in 15207 zip, regarding all developments planned and implemented in the Greater Hazelwood Area.

Mr. Eric Stoller Program Officer, Civic Design + Community Revitalization of The Heinz Endowments and Caren Glotfelty who is deeply involved in the ALMONO development will be our guest Presenters. We are hoping to have Mr. Don Smith from RIDC and Mr., Ken Doyno of Rothschild / Doyno Collaborative join us as well, but are unsure of there schedule at this time.

The agenda of the meeting shall include the introduction of POORLAW Board Members and the Members of the AAF. Come to take a positive role in the development of Hazelwood and hear and express your concerns in an orderly fashion.
